Supporting worldwide missions is an important focus of Berean Bible Church.
The missions committee promotes and coordinates mission support and outreach programs locally, and around the world.
The committee acts as intermediary between the church and the individual missionaries, mission candidates, and their mission or parent church organizations.
The committee currently consists of the Chair, eight appointed members from the congregation, and two youth representatives. In addition to our monthly reports the committee interviews all currently supported missionaries and candidates when they are in town.
This committe coordinates Berean's one-week
missions conference held each October. During this time we host visiting missionaries and focus on, learn about, and celebrate world-wide missions. We make or renew friendships and hear updates about how God is working with, and through each of the missionaries on their various fields.

Women's Missionary Fellowship is an opportunity for men, women and children to work collaboratively in missions here at home by quilting, handiwork, corresponding with and praying for foreign and home missionaries that are supported by this church body. We end the day's activities by hearing either directly or indirectly from one of the fields we support after enjoying a delicious and inexpensive lunch.
Berean's Cupboard is well known among the missionaries we support. Each missionary family is invited to visit the cupboard when they are in town to "go shopping" for items they need, whether tools, baby clothes, winter coats, new shoes or whatever the Lord has lead Berean families to donate at the missions conference, and throughout the year. During the Missions conference, monetary donations for the Cupboard fund supplement those donations, allowing us to provide more personal items needed and to help ship them to their fields. These funds also provide supplies for the many projects requested of the WMF by the missionaries.
In addition to Berean's Cupboard fund donations; we have had a book sale for the past several years with donated books from people in our congregation. The sale was three Sunday's in June after the morning Worship Service in the Upper Lounge. The funds are divided evenly among our visiting conference missionaries for travelling expenses.
