Our Early Childhood Department offers children ages 2-5 a great setting to learn how Jesus can be a part of their lives. While parents go to Sunday School and Sunday morning worship service, qualified teachers and helpers lead preschoolers through a curriculum that is both fun and educational with Bible stories, crafts, games and music.

Berean Bible Church provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for children with a staff and facilities dedicated to the teaching of the Word of God and God's love for each of us. Our children's Sunday School (9:30-10:30) is divided into two departments: grades one to three are in the Primary Department and four to six in the Junior Department. Each group enjoys singing, games, and small-group Bible lessons, which include a memory verse, lesson activity page, and take-home paper.

Children in grades one through six are dismissed midway through the Sunday morning worship service. They can choose to attend Children's Church or Children’s Choir. Learning activities and practical applications are included with each Bible lesson in Children’s Church. The “Joyful Noise” Children’s Choir rehearses and performs musical numbers for special programs and services.

Our Awana club program is offered on Wednesday nights (6:40-8:15) for boys and girls aged three through the second grade and for boys in grades three through six. Aimed at evangelizing and discipling kids, Awana offers a time for active play and a quality curriculum focused on Bible memorization. The Cubbie group is for 3 & 4 yr olds, Sparks for K - 2nd graders and T & T for 3rd-6th grade boys.  Visit Awana.org for more information.

Pioneer Girls is a weekly Wednesday night club program (6:40-8:15) for girls in grades two through six. Much like scout meetings, club time includes learning activities, games, crafts, singing, and special outings. Pioneer Girls also get to dive into God’s Word during Bible Exploration time. Bring your club registration form with you.

VBA is a fun, educational highlight of our summer activities at Berean for children age 4 up to those entering 7th grade. Many hours of planning and work on the part of 75+ leaders go into presenting a high quality program complete with games, crafts, snacks, skits, Bible lessons, and more! Mark your calendars for VBA in 2012:  July 23-27th from 9:15-noon.

Berean's Saturday basketball league is a fun way for children in grades 3-12 to learn the game, have fun, and build character as well as skill. Coached and run by screened Christian volunteers, the league runs from January to March each year. Signups begin in November. Visit the Berean youth website for more information.
